Morton Band Contest

The 6th grade Germantown Hills Cadet Band competed this past weekend against 12 other schools in the area and placed second, pretty good for their first competition. Jacob will be competing with 2 other boys from his band the weekend of March 7-8 in a ensemble competition at Illinois Community College. I'll post pictures after the competition.

Look who is 12 (and 46) !!!!!!!

Jacob turned 12 on February 15 and someone else turned 46 on February 13..wonder who it was????

Jacob is in the 6th grade Cadet Band, as well as the Jazz Band. He performed his first solo during the Christmas Concert in December-this was the Jazz Band concert in November.
