Fall is here, atleast at my house

It may be 80 degrees outside, but I couldn't

wait any longer and had to get out my decorations

for my favorite time of year...now if the weather

would only cooperate (someone remind me of this

when we are in the middle of a blizzard this winter).

Another Sunday, Another JFL Football Game

Jacob had his second football game of the season today

(last Sunday's game was cancelled due to Hurricane Ike's

remnants we received all weekend). They won 56-8 today.

Jacob had a terrific game today...we are so proud of him.

Out My Back Door

Just a little peek into what is outside my

backdoor this morning. Although, it is

still 3 days away, Fall is just beginning

to show it's beautiful little head this cool,

crisp mid-September morning.

Remnants of Hurricane Gustave

We received our part of Hurricane Gustave on

Thursday, it rained for over 12 hours straight,

although it was nothing compared to what other's

received. This is what came out of it on our end...

2 hours of football practice in the pouring rain...

Jacob said it was the best practice EVER!!!

Braces

Jacob got his top braces on today, bottoms go

on in 3-4 visits, as he has a bottom jaw alignment

problem and he grinds his teeth at night, so that

needs to be corrected first. You can't really tell by

the pictures, but he got red and black braces for

Metamora Football.....who would have thought?????
