Football Banquet

This afternoon was Jacob's football banquet...we had a great time.

Coach Zimmerman gave a "little" speech about each player...He

noted that this was Jacob's first year of football and that he was only

1 of 4 7th graders on the Senior Team. He then went onto mention

that during the first practices, Jacob had bruises all up and down his

shoulders and arms, but never complained. That he was a little timid

at first, but after the second game wasn't afraid to block or tackle and

really become an important member of the defense. He praised him

for his great personality and then proceeded to tell everyone that on

the bus to the Indy game, Jacob took off his shirt and did the "truffle

shuffle" and belly danced to the pure enjoyment of the entire team and

coaching staff and now proudly has over 600 hits on YouTube doing

the dance....who says you can't play football and be the life of the

party as well.....What a GREAT experience this was for him.
