Jacob's Christmas Concert

What a wonderful way to spend a snowy evening.
The Germantown Hills Music Department put on
their annual Christmas Program and it was FANTASTIC.
They have so many talented students in band and chorus.
Many of these students compete throughout the year
at various events (Jacob included) and some are even lucky
to be accepted at Bradley University in June to attend a
one week Band Camp (Jacob included-last year). Their
hard work and dedication throughout the year really show,
especially on evenings like last night.
AWESOME !!!!!

Oh, you should be so proud of Jacob! I wish I could hear him play! Tell him that I'm proud of all he's doing and become!!

And, you're making me jealous with all that beautiful snow...we've had really cold temps, but no real snow. My boys are hoping for some really soon! We'll see!

We are so proud of him, we're not sure where he gets his musical ability from..teehee..we are just thankful for it...he's turning into a fine young man..hard to believe that 7 years ago you were teaching him how to read and now he's only 2 years shy of high school..YIKES!!

The snow is beautiful...I'm sure some of it is on it's way to you all, if not, let me know and I'll send you some, as I'm sure this is just the beginning for us...

Hope all is well with everyone in VA.. Jake and I read your blog all the time to keep up with you all....

He loves the trombone, not so much the "monkey suit" as he calls it..although I don't know too many 12-13 year olds that do..personally, I LOVE IT!!!!
