You might be wondering why I'm posting picturesof China on my blog...well....I've been keeping a secret
since September (and for those of you that know me, you know
how difficult it's been)...my very GENEROUS brother and sweet
family gifted Jacob a trip of a lifetime for Christmas...Jacob
will be going to Shanghai, China for 16 days in June. While
there, they will be going to Beijing for several days and
seeing the sights there, as well as walking The Great Wall of China.
What an incredible trip...Jacob was so excited, he couldn't say anything
and again for those of you that know him, he's just like his Dad...a man
of MANY words....hahahaha!!! Jacob was stunned!!!!!

Wow!! That is awesome!! I can't wait to see all the pictures and hear about his time there! I loved seeing all the pictures of you and the Kovies over Christmas. Everyone looks so great! Happy NEW YEAR!
Happy New Year to you all....loved the pictures of the boys cooking...Jacob and Stephen got chef's hat for Christmas, as well as cookbooks for teenagers from my Dad...so they prepared dinner for us one night while everyone was here...they did a great job!!!!!
We had so much fun with The Kovie's, we were so sad to see them go...our hearts still hurt..but what an AWESOME opportunity for Jake, he is so excited!!!!

He is so excited..it should be interesting to get a 13 year old's view of China..I'm sure he will forever be changed by the experience.
